Concert Ticket
Generally speaking, all show tickets are the same in the sense that they all allow you to watch something that you, well, want to watch. Whether it is a concert ticket or theater ticket, the concept is still the same: admission into the show.
However, there are some differences that make a concert ticket unique from all the rest. Here are some of the differences that you could find as potentially useful.
Difference #1: The Prices
Because "prices" also spell out "money", this should be number one in the list of differences. Basically, a concert ticket can cost from a few dollars to hundreds depending on the artist who is performing the concert. If the artist who is singing is a big star, you can expect the price of the ticket to be quite high. However, there are times when the prices of the concerts of big stars are priced low to give equal opportunity to all their fans in watching the show.
As for the tickets for the other shows such as Broadway tickets and West End Tickets, the prices usually are below a hundred dollars. However, the pricing depends on the show. If it is one that has full on production with a cast of big stars, then you can expect the price to be in the high end part.
Difference #2: Concerts Are Rare
Another difference that exists between a concert ticket from that for another kind of show is that concerts of a specific artist are rare. Sure, all artists tour and hold concerts but they do not do it all the time. A single artist could hold concerts once or twice in specific area making it a rare occasion.
On the other hand, the theater is always giving shows almost every night. Unlike concerts, the same show could run for weeks to months giving you ample time to watch a show at your given leisure.
Difference #3: Going Paperless
It used to be that a concert ticket is made of paper. Later on, artists and their promoters decided to make use of plastic thus, giving way to the wrist band formed ticket. Today, paperless tickets have become the latest in the world of tickets for concerts. They say that the reason for this is to save on paper as well as lessen the occurrence of scammers selling tickets to unsuspecting concert goers. However, this kind of ticket has yet to hit non-concert shows.
